Spring in the Scenic Rim

7 Aug, 2026

Spring is a beautiful time to experience Beechmont Estate and the Scenic Rim.

Set approximately 600 metres above sea level, the Estate enjoys a refreshing hinterland microclimate that brings a welcome change of pace as the weather warms. The surrounding landscape is rich with rolling green pastures, fertile volcanic soil and ancient rainforest, creating a setting that feels both expansive and deeply restorative. It is a season that invites you outdoors. Take a guided walk beneath the rainforest canopy and discover the textures, sounds and quiet of the surrounding national park. Explore the hills by e-bike, following the country at your own pace, or settle in for a gourmet picnic with wide views across the landscape.

Spring and summer also bring seasonal birdlife to the Estate and its surrounds, including monarchs and cuckoos. Wallabies frequently pass through the property, while koalas can sometimes be spotted in the eucalypts along the national park boundary. It is a gentle reminder that the natural world is never far away here.

After a day outside, return to the Estate for a slower kind of indulgence. Take time for a restorative treatment at the spa, settle in with a drink as the afternoon light softens, or make an occasion of dinner at The Paddock, where seasonal produce and the flavours of the region are at the centre of the experience.

Spring at Beechmont is not about fitting more into the day. It is about making room for the things that matter: fresh air, good food, time in nature and the simple pleasure of being somewhere that allows you to switch off.

Whether you are planning a quiet weekend away, time with friends or a longer Scenic Rim escape, spring is a lovely season to make Beechmont Estate your base.
