Hang Gliding & Paragliding
Experience a tandem hang gliding flight, soaring above the picturesque Scenic Rim hinterland up to 2,500 feet. Flights launch early in the morning and are towed to altitude by a specially designed ultralight aircraft from the Oz Sky Ranch on the other side of Canungra (40 minute drive). Flights are airborne for approximately 15-20 minutes. Operated by Oz Paragliding & Hang Gliding.
You can also watch experienced hang gliders and paragliders fly from Rosin’s lookout, a 7 minute drive from the Estate. The views from the lookout, overlooking the Numinbah Valley, are spectacular. Take a Paddock Picnic Hamper to spread out on the grassy hill, or pop into the Flying Bean Café for coffee across the road (a favourite for motorcycle enthusiasts on the weekend).

Hot Air Balloon
Experience the spectacular scenery of the Scenic Rim on an early morning Hot Air Ballooning experience over the hinterland, including hot breakfast and Champagne, O’Reilly’s Grand Homestead & Vineyard visit, and digital photography to remember your experience. Meet at the Canungra Visitor Information Centre to join an air-conditioned bus transfer to the launch site nearby. Operated by Hot Air.

Golf
Enjoy the fresh air on the greens at the small, friendly, Canungra Golf Club, a local nine hole course with a relaxed, country atmosphere, a 20 minute drive from Beechmont Estate. Golf Course open seven days; Clubhouse open Thursday, Saturday & Sunday. Let us book a tee time for you. Operated by Canungra Area Golf Club.

E-bikes
We welcome you to explore the grounds by foot or on one of our e-bikes, available at the front desk. Please be aware of vehicles and buggies in use on our roads as you cycle the grounds of the property.
